That's how I play my PS2 games over a wired connection between my PC and router and my router and PS2 (right now I'm 75 hours into Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne on my PS2 and it runs great). Put all your PS2 roms on your computer and then share the folder over your network. If it's a Slim you have the network functionality built in already. If your PS2 is a fat you'll have to get a network adapter. You can buy Free McBoot cards cheaply off ebay. But as long as your PS2 isn't a 90000 series Slim you can get a Free McBoot memory card to play games over the network using OPL. I tried playing games off a USB drive but the experience was horrible, lots of lagging and crashes. The PS2 only has USB 1.1, which was designed for things like mice and keyboards, not high bandwidth devices like storage drives. Any tech related posts not in there will be removed.
